Notice on Reduction of Visa Fee

To facilitate cross-border travel, the Chinese Embassy in Malawi will reduce the visa fee from December 11, 2023 to December 31 2024. The new visa fee standard is listed below:

Number of Entry	Malawian Citizen	Non-Malawian Citizen
Single-Entry	$60	$30
Double-Entry	$90	$45
Multiple-Entry for 6 Months	$120	$60
Multiple-Entry for 12 Months or more	$180	$90

For visa applications that have been processed before December 11, 2023, the visa fee will be charged at the original rate.
